You may think this is so random and not about books---but it is! When I saw this, I thought it would be a perfect illustration for so many scenes in books I have read. Here's some DC homework! Tell us what book scene this reminds you of! What book does it bring to mind?
Always,
Lady Arwen
I think the only books involving forests that I like are the Lord of the Rings.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of a scene in the David Eddings books--one of my favorite scenes, in fact. The forest with all the dryads, in book #2, Queen of Sorcery. That is definitely what came to mind. It's so lovely.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the Lord of the Rings and Chronicles of Narnia.
Woa! Just noticed something! Look at the far left side of the painting. There is a person!
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of A Light in the Forest. JK I have never even read that book I just know it exists. It is a very lovely picture.
ReplyDeleteIt kind of reminds me of elves, so basically the Lord of the Rings. I've only seen the movies though, so I don't know if that counts. I guess it kind of reminds me of Robin Hood. But I haven't read that either. I want to go see the new movie that's coming out soon. Looks sweet.
ReplyDeleteSweet as in awesome.
ReplyDeleteThat picture is beautiful! It reminds me of the 7th Harry Potter when it's all snowy and he's following the deer patronus! That makes sense if you have read it, but if not then it doesn't make any sense!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful picture, indeed, Lady Arwen. Very cool. The Lord of the Rings and Narnia also come to my mind when I see it.

Yeah, the new Robin Hood movie looks really sweet.
ReplyDeleteLady E you are so right that it looks like that :) the first thing that came to mind when I saw it was the lord of the rings
