No problem. In a couple days I might post something easier to understand, so that our younger readers would have something to read too. Not that they couldn't read this, but come on... Robert Louis Stevenson is a lot easier.(and more fun) We will see how the comments go. if people complain, then I'll post another one, if not, then we can chew on this for a while.
Yes, Dora it is pretty cool. I didn't really think about how hard it was to read until about 10 minutes after I posted it. Sorry!! I have another poem that I will post probably on Thursday or Friday, that will be easier.
On second thought...
I could either post another poem, or I could explain what this poem means... What does everyone think I should do? I could even do both...? Let me know.
My opinion... just do the second poem. This is mainly about books, you know? Even though poems are nice every once in a while. I think the second poem will be enough until Tini posts.
Actually Lady Arwen, this is a "literary blog," and the correct definition of literature is: written works such as fiction, poetry, drama and criticism that are recognized as having important or permanent artistic value.
Therefore, poetry could definitely be discussed on this blog. I just wanted to clear that up. However, in this case, it doesn't matter to me what Lord Anthony does. Anything will be fine.
Yeah... I always knew that you were Frankenstien's cousin. So you make th final call Tini. Should I post an explanation of this poem, or just post a different one. Thanks! TD
Yeah, everyone's all into this! It's so great. I think We might be getting a couple more followers pretty soon. I'm going to talk to some people this weekend.
That poem should make Shakespeare feel honored.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that, Dewhurst! I'm super busy this week but I should get my post up Sunday at the latest.

ReplyDeleteTake your time, Tini. I don't mind.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious as to what you will write about...hmmm.

P.S. That was not meant in any harm. Just merely pointing out something for everyone's benefit. So no offense taken, right?
ReplyDeleteNo offense taken...though I was getting nervous half way through.
ReplyDeleteTini, you should make the final decision!
I still can't figure out who the third pic is of!!!
ReplyDeleteYa!! who in the world are they??
ReplyDeleteHahaha wow this blog is taking off. I've created an awesome monster.

...cool quote huh? From a Shakespeare play. Here's one from Henry V:
ReplyDelete"Men of few words are the best men."
Well, now I must depart...
"Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say goodnight til it be morrow."
-Romeo and Juliet
You all know that one! See ya.
How bout you post another poem. It'd be a cool thing to post entire poems between posts, that way we can all read them and talk about them.
ReplyDeleteAlso, anyone want to volunteer to be a writer?
ReplyDeleteNot at the moment, Christine. thanks anyway for the offer.
