The Destruction of Sennacherib

Here is a poem to keep us occupied while Dewhurst is reading his book.

It is written by George Gordon Byron.

I believe Dewhurst just started his book, so her or I might post another poem before the next post.
Enjoy this poem. I like it a lot.

P.S. Has anyone posted The Lady of Shalott poem yet??

  2. Ok, Dewhurst, that didn't work. Any other ways?

  3. Ok. Go to the website where you found the poem and right click on the poem. It should give you options to copy, paste, search, etc. Go down to "send to" (beneath Google Search) and there should be an arrow that gives you the option to "Blog this page", or "Gmail this Page." Click on "blog this page." It should then pull up the page where you type posts for DC, and it should have the link attached. Try that. Let me know if that makes sense.

  5. Oh, do not worry. I shall just sorrowfully suffer the consequences of being ill educated in computer studies. *sigh*

  7. Oh. I see. I forgot, I guess.
Umm...what happened to you outrageously pitying and comforting me? I mean I...I kind of liked that.

  8. It did not seem that you accepted my suit very promisingly, so I would prefer not to make an idiot of myself if my entreaties are in vain. But say the word, loveliness, and I will be silent or defensive in your name. Assure me whether or not you return my affections!

  9. Dewhurst, I...well, I admit it. I love you with my whole heart! You are the most gentlemanly, thoughtful, and romantic man I have ever beheld! And I only pretended to be clueless of your love because I was afraid of being in love. But I am no longer afraid! Please, my lord, forgive me for being so cold. I love you - even more than I do books!

  16. Maybe a hiatus wouldn't be a bad idea... What does the boss say?

  18. Um, forgive me for that sudden outburst. I was deeply disturbed by Dewhurst's suggestion. I love this blog, I do not want it to stop, that's all.
Besides, it seems to me everyone but Tony and I have been on a hiatus weather we like it or not.
